| These two images show plumes of smoke trailing from fires approximately 7 miles (above) and 12 miles (below) to the northeast of Pariang town.
The plumes extend downwind for more than a mile from the fires. The point sources of these plumes can be viewed as 'hot spots' on the simultaneously collected
thermal image of this area
